My name is Ade Kurnia Atika, my friends usually call me Ade. I am studendt at SMK Negeri 1 Pungging Mojokerto in Computer Network Engineering Departement. I’ii tell abaut my experience during the performance PRAKERIN ( Practice Employment Industry). PRAKERIN is one of the activities required for all vocation studendts in Indonesia,. PRAKERIN is expected once studendts are able to apply science to study abroad in the world of work. By following the expected PRAKERIN expanding their horizons and understand that any job that requires skill, motivation, and passion to compete, so embedded in students a desire to improve the knowledge and skills themselves. In PRAKERIN Students will also recognize that there are a variety of equipment in the workplace are sometimes different from the tools that exist in schools.
I was given the opportunity to perform my PRAKERIN at the company called FMC Media. Starting from 1st March until 30st June for 4 mounths. I have very mucgh experience both happy and sad with my friend. On the first day we felt very nervous. The first task we have is ‘Instalation Windows XP’ belongs to the computer client’s. We also repairs and maintenance computer on office.
I always go to the office each morning around 7.30 a.m every orning ang go home at 04.00 p.m every day. I going to the office by motorcycle. Prior to the office, I waiting for my friend in Mojosari market. His name is Irma, his home and My house in different direction so he go using public transportation. Then we going to office together.
We have a lot of knowledge abaut computer network and handling. Every day we always have new experiences ang getting to know abaut any things, example :
· Installation Clear OS
· Installation Windows 7
· Installation Mikrotik
· Installation Debian 6
· Repair Computer and Printer
· Network Installation
· Computer Assembly
·
In addition to knowledge, we also have two friend. They name are Agung and Za’fad. They came from SMK Mojosari. They always help us in resolving any problems. They are a good patner.
We’re not busy every day, to fill the spare time weusually chat, play games online. Or browsing the internet. Because we can surfing the internet free in the office. We can learn abaut any things that happening in the world every day. We very enjoy because that. We also listen any material provided by the instructor as well. Then we listening the material from the instructor. We always practice each material with the tools available.
In the end of PRAKERIN I made a report is “Management Network with Mikrotik”.
That material matter which way is giving by my instuktor from FMC Media, his name is Mr. Fandi. I sorting using such materials as easily understood and practice.
That bit of my experience during PRAKERIN although not long ago I was there but I've got a very valuable experience at FMC Media .
